User Interface
Subsystems
Assuming that the correct license key has been successfully specified as the value of the corresponding variable in the QuickApp, 9 ChildApps (aka. Subsystems) have now been created under the original main QuickApp
The names of the subsystems consist of two parts connected by a hyphen. The initial part refers to the subsystem within the device:
- Ventilation: the ventilation subsystem
- DHW: the domestic hot water production subsystem
- HPS: the secondary heat pump, which can be geothermal (GEO) or air-to-air (AIR) subsystem
The second part of the name refers to the user level, so that different users can be given personalized privileges as installer or admin. The following user levels are available:
- Guest: this is the lowest level, only values and settings that are allowed for a guest or a small child are available here.
- User: this is the general level, which can be available to any general resident.
- Admin: the settings available here have a more in-depth effect on the operation of the machine, which requires some extra knowledge of how the machine works.
Based on these, you can decide which users you give which intervention options, that is, which QuickApps will be visible to which users. Each level (Guest, User and Admin) gives increasing privileges, so everything is available at higher levels that was available at lower levels. Therefore, for example, in a single user configuration, the Admin level is sufficient, the others can be hidden.
You can disable each subsystem before activating the license. If you do not have certain components (e.g. no HPS and DHW) and/or you only want one user level, e.g. because you are in a single-user system and only need the Admin level, you can set this in advance in the Main App “Disabled Subsystems” multiselect option.
Note: In addition to the above, there are also so-called service subsystems that have sensitive configuration options the unprofessional use of which can lead to damage to the machine. These are hidden behind a service PIN code, preventing the possibility of errors while allowing the technician to use them.
Main App
In the Main App you can find information about QuickApp itself, including version number and licensing status. You can also find licensing information here if you have not yet purchased a license key.
